Post Tour

An optional post-tour of seven days through the North Island of New Zealand will be offered at an additional cost of $1,340 for all participants. The post tour runs from Sunday 7 January 2024 till Sunday 14 January 2024.

The post-tour will incorporate a range of experiences across the Outdoor Adventure Skills and Special Interest Areas. The post-tour is limited to 250 participants. These places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis (except for adult members, as outlined below).

Youth members please note: if you select ‘Yes’ to attend the Post-Tour in your online application, and your overall application to attend NZJ2023-24 as a member of the Australian Contingent is approved, then your place on the Post-Tour is automatically confirmed.

Adult members please note: our optional Post-Tour is a youth-focused activity. For adult members, selecting ‘Yes’ to attend the Post-Tour in your online application indicates your interest in attending the Post-Tour; however, your Post-Tour place is not confirmed until advised by the Contingent Management Team. Should the number of adult applicants exceed the number of adults required to safely operate the Post-Tour, a selection process will be undertaken to select adult members for the Post-Tour.

Activity preferences will be placed through the online application system.  Please note they are preferences only. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences, but due to operational needs of the Contingent this may not be possible.
