Scouts Australia is sending a Contingent to the 23rd New Zealand Jamboree in December 2023 – January 2024.
Attending a New Zealand Jamboree is an outstanding introduction to International Scouting. Set in one of the most picturesque countries on the planet, Australian Scouts will be offered a program of outdoor adventure and cultural immersion that will deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
DatesThe Australian Contingent will gather in Auckland on 28 December 2023 for a few days of patrol-based activities before travelling to the Mystery Creek Events Centre for the opening day of the Jamboree on 30 December 2023. The Jamboree runs until Sunday 7 January 2024 and the Contingent will return to Australia on Monday 8 January 2024.
An optional post tour offering the best of the New Zealand north island will be on offer for members of the Australian Contingent. The post tour runs from Sunday 7 January 2024 till Sunday 14 January 2024.
LocationThe Jamboree will be held at the Mystery Creek Events Centre, Hamilton. The Jamboree site is around two hours south of Auckland.
